BASF Singapore doubles production capacity of antioxidant Irganox® 1010

17 May 2022 - BASF has increased the production capacity of the antioxidant Irganox® 1010 at its production site in Jurong Island, Singapore, with an additional production line integrated into the existing production facility.
BASF's production site in Jurong Island, Singapore has doubled its production capacity for antioxidant Irganox® 1010, and the new production line has been integrated into the existing production facility.

With this capacity expansion, BASF can provide customers with greater flexibility and ensure supply reliability. The additional capacity in Singapore will mainly cater to the fast-growing Asia Pacific and Middle East markets.

Irganox® 1010 is a polybasic hindered phenolic antioxidant. It provides protection against thermo-oxidative degradation and is mainly used in polyolefins, but is also recommended for polyacetals, polyamides and polyurethanes, polyesters, PVC, ABS, and elastomers such as butyl and synthetic rubbers.
With a global production network, BASF is the only plastic additive supplier with production sites in Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East.
